Keresa is a Registered Social Worker. She received her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto where she specialized in Mental Health and Health. Keresa has over 8 years of extensive clinical experience working with diverse clients with complex mental health and addiction challenges, in the community as well as in hospital settings.
Keresa offers therapy to youth (16+) and adults experiencing a range of concerns, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, racial trauma, school and work stress as well as relationship difficulties. She has an integrative approach to practice grounded in client-centered, anti-oppressive and trauma-informed principles. She incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy strategies, self-compassion approaches, dialectical behavioural therapy techniques and solution-focused therapy strategies.
Keresa works collaboratively with you to develop an individualized plan that is tailored to your needs. She is passionate about supporting clients with their goals and considers the process of holding space for someone a true privilege. She would be honoured to support you on your journey.
Keresa is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
